How claiming a listing works
Your practice may already be listed on Find GLP-1 Care Now. We compiled it from public sources without asking you, so claiming is how you take control of what we publish about you. It is free, and it does not provide a ranking boost.
The five steps
- Find your listing and open the claim form. Every listing page carries one. You will need a name, an email at the business, and your role. The corrections box is where you tell us what we got wrong.
- We check it against the practice. Nothing you submit is applied automatically. Anyone can fill in a form claiming to run any clinic, so a person confirms the claim is coming from the business before anything changes. This usually takes two business days.
- We email you a link to set a password. The link works once and expires after three days. We never send you a password - you choose your own, and we could not tell you what it is if you asked.
- You correct your details yourself, whenever they change. Prices move in this market constantly, so you do not have to email us every time. Sign in, edit the fields that are wrong, and save. There is no queue and nothing to wait for: your changes are on your page immediately, and you can keep editing as often as you like.
- We read what changed, afterwards. Publishing first and checking second is a deliberate choice: a business that has proved the listing is theirs should not have to wait two days to fix a phone number that is wrong today. We still read every change. If one cannot stand we put it back and tell you why, rather than leaving you to notice. What you can edit is limited to facts about your own operation - you cannot change our assessment of you or your review scores. Claiming does not provide a ranking boost. Factual updates may change a calculated score if they change an input used by our published method. Your listing also carries a visible claimed badge, which tells a reader the details came from the business rather than from our scrape of the web.
What claiming does not do
This is the part other directories are vague about, so we will be specific.
- It does not provide a ranking boost. Our ranking formula takes no input for claim status, advertising, or any commercial relationship. Factual updates may change a calculated score if they change an input used by our published method. It is published in full so you can check that yourself rather than taking our word for it.
- Claiming does not cost anything. Claiming has no paid tier. Sponsorships are offered separately, are labeled where they appear, and are never a condition of claiming - what you can correct about your own listing will not be moved behind a payment.
- It does not let you remove a competitor, or edit anything except your own listing.
- It does not let you edit our summary of you. The paragraph we write is generated from structured facts and is ours, not yours. You get a separate block, clearly attributed to you, to say what you want about your own practice.
- It does not let you remove your Google rating or review count. Those are third-party data reproduced with attribution, and we do not edit them on request. You can tell us they are attached to the wrong business, and we will check.
What happens to your email address
We use it to verify the claim and to contact you about your listing. The form also has a separate, unchecked box asking whether you want to hear from us about services for weight-management practices. That consent is deliberately not bundled into claiming: correcting your own record must not require agreeing to be marketed to. Leave it unchecked and claiming works exactly the same.
We do not sell your details. Our privacy policy has the full account.
If you would rather not be listed at all
Then say so and we will take the listing down. There are no conditions attached and we will not try to talk you out of it first. Email hello@glp1carenow.com from any address at the business, or use the claim form and say it in the corrections box. See Contact.
Why we want you to claim
Plainly, because it makes the directory better in the one way we cannot fix ourselves. We hold a checked price for a small fraction of the businesses we list, and the rest were assembled from published pages that go out of date. A claimed listing is the only source of a price we can actually stand behind. You get an accurate listing; readers get a figure that is true.
We also operate a telehealth service that competes with many of the businesses listed here, which you are entitled to weigh when deciding whether to deal with us. That relationship, and the specific things we do to keep it out of the rankings, are set out on our Terms of Service.
